Arminia Bielefeld and Greuther Furth closed the 19th round of the German Championship this Saturday. The final score of 2-2 was not good for both teams as they are in the relegation zone.
With 18 points, Bielefeld is in 16th place and scored their second straight draw in the tournament. In the 20th round, they face Eintracht Frankfurt at 16:30 (BrasÃlia time) next Friday.
Furth, in turn, is in last position with just seven added. Next Saturday, the team duels with Mainz at 11:30 am.
The game – The first goal came eight minutes into the first half. Masaya Okugawa managed to shoot towards the goal and fired a beautiful shot in the left corner to score for Bielefeld.
The score was even in the first half. At 35, Jamie Leweling went on the attack and finished strong to leave everything equal, with no chance for goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
In the second half, Furth turned the game around with Havard Kallevik Nielsen, but couldn’t hold the score. In the 38th minute, Gonzalo Castro received a pass at the entrance of the area and fired with the first shot to make it 2-2.
