There is a lineup for the team competition in Zakopane. And what! Doleżal decided

Two Saturday training sessions were to decide which Poles we will see in the Saturday team competition. He had a huge headache, because in the absence of Kamil Stoch and Dawid Kubacki, he has to bet on a very experimental line-up.

After training, however, decided that the team would include: Piotr ¯y³a, Stefan Hula, Jakub Wolny, and our leader will be Paweł Wąsek, who is doing the best with ours in Zakopane.

Wąsek takes the lead on the lead

he actually had only two certain candidates. One of them is, of course, Piotr Żyła, but he did not impress him in training. The second of them delighted, that is, in the first training, the Pole jumped 133 meters in difficult conditions and lost only to Ryoyu Kobayashi. It was a bomb jump, the same as he did in Wednesday’s training sessions in Zakopane. Although Wąska was not supposed to be in Zakopane, it is doing really well after negative tests. We didn’t see Wąska in the second training session. Because de facto there was nothing to check, and the jumper keeps all his strength for the competition.

In the background, the fight for the Olympics. Hula in the lead

Stefan Hula shows very even and stable jumps in Zakopane, who can think more and more realistically about going to the Olympics. In the three training jumps he has so far, he has always defeated Andrzej Stękał and Jakub Wolny, which are theoretically the most dangerous candidates for the 5th place. It is not surprising that Doleżal decided that Hula will be included in the Saturday team competition.

Most of the question marks were about the fourth one for the team, because in Zakopane, Maciej Kot, Jakub Wolny and Andrzej Stękała jumped on a very similar level. Free in Saturday’s training sessions, he had the most difficult conditions, and he jumped solidly anyway. Therefore, his choice is not surprising. Additionally, we can have a correspondence duel with Hula for a trip to the Olympics.
