Russian figure skaters became leaders in rhythm dance at the European Championships. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov received 87.89 points for the rental and won the rhythm dance. In second place were Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin. For their performance, they earned 86.45 points. Rounding out the top three were Italian figure skaters Charlene Gignard and Marco Fabri, who received 83.35 points for the rental.
Another Russian duet also appeared in the top ten. Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin finished eighth.
On January 13, Russian figure skaters took the entire podium in the pairs competition. Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov in total for two programs received 239.82 points and won the tournament with a new world record. The second were Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov. The top three winners were closed by Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky.
The European Championship takes place in Tallinn and will last until January 16th.
