Ajax made official the transfer of forward David Neres to Shakhtar Donetsk, from Ukraine, this Friday. The Dutch club will receive 12 million euros (about R$ 76 million at the current price) for the sale of the player. In addition, you can still profit up to 4 million euros in variables.
Who did well with the negotiation was the São Paulo, which is entitled to 3% of the transfer fee for being the forming club. With this, Tricolor will receive around R$ 2.2 million.
Neres left the São Paulo club to join Ajax in 2017. The Dutch paid 12 million euros, around R$41 million, for 80% of the athlete’s economic rights. São Paulo kept 20%, which was later sold by trading Antony also to Ajax. At the time, the Dutch club paid 7 million euros (then R$ 32 million) for the slice that São Paulo was still entitled to.
Inside the four lines, David Neres played in 180 games with Ajax and scored 47 goals. In addition, he won two Dutch Championships, two Dutch Cups and reached the semifinals of the 2018/19 Champions League, being one of the team’s main highlights.
