Barça, in turn, managed to react and, thus, tied the confrontation in the 38th minute, with Fati. The young winger, who had come off the bench, was called by Jordi Alba and, with his head, equalized the score.
At eight minutes of extra time, Real returned to lead the duel after a beautiful goal produced by Brazilians. Casemiro pulled the counterattack and played for Rodrygo, who crossed low from the right. From inside the area, Vinícius Júnior applied a light block and left the ball free for the Uruguayan Valverde, who dominated and calmly hit the corner, securing the 3-2 triumph.
