The perpetual one reaches for another football player from the league. He even played for the national team

Perpetual Krakow is probably heading for promotion to the third league. The team led by Franciszek Smuda is the clear leader of the Małopolska IV league table with 11 points ahead of the second Wisła players, Jaskowit. Despite the very comfortable situation in the league, the club’s authorities are preparing further reinforcements. In the next few days, another player with a past in the league will join the team.

An experienced forward from the Premier League is a new acquisition of Wieczyła. She knows Smuda well

This player is to be 32-year-old Maciej Jankowski. The experienced striker has just terminated the contract with Stal Mielec. This season, the footballer played 12 games, in which he did not score a single goal. So he was not, to put it mildly, the favorite of coach Adam Majewski.

Jankowski has become a victim of the winter revolution in the Stal Mielec team, as part of which even a dozen players may leave the club. The attacker, however, quickly found a new employer. According to the latest information from the portal, the 32-year-old is to sign a contract with Wieczyła Kraków within the next few days. Thus, he would become another player with a future in the league after Sławomir Peszko, Radosław Majewski and Łukasz Burliga.

Maciej Jankowski is a pupil of MKS Piaseczno. During his career so far, in addition to Stal, Mielec has represented the colors of such clubs as Ruch Chorzów, Wisła Kraków, Piast Gliwice or Arka Gdynia. In total, he accumulated as many as 302 appearances in the league, in which he scored 63 goals. He even has one appearance in the Polish national team. It took place in 2011, while still in office ….
