English mixed martial artist (MMA) Paddy Pimblett wanted to compete with Irishman Conor McGregor, who is expected to return to the octagon in 2022. It is reported by the Irish Mirror.
The 27-year-old Liverpool native has set his sights on a fight with Magkregor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Pimblett is convinced that their fight will be a bright confrontation – the audience is interested in the duel between representatives of England and Ireland.
“I am convinced that this fight will bring a lot of money for the UFC. I don’t doubt it at all. Some are waiting for Conor to lose again. Others want my defeat, and vice versa. We both have many fans who want to see us as winners, ”said Pimblett, who is known as the Second McGregor.
McGregor continues to recover from a broken leg, which he received in a fight with Dustin Poirier in the summer. The Irishman is expected to return to performing in the spring of 2022.
