On Saturday, a press conference was held before the -VIP 4 gala – the fourth event of the celebrity fight federation founded by Marcin Najman. During the conference, Najman introduced the “boss” of the federation. To the music from “The Godfather”, a masked man dressed in a tuxedo appeared on the stage. whose members in the 1990s were involved in smuggling, assaults, racketeering, drug trafficking, kidnapping and contract killings. For such crimes, “Słowik” spent many years in prison.

Najman’s show was widely reported in the media. Also, many fans expressed their disgust that a former gangster became the head of the organization and its face. Najman finally addressed the criticism on his Twitter account. He posted a short video there, recorded from his car.

– The hypocrisy of some people in our country turns out to be shocking. There is no MMA organization in Poland, be it sports or freak, there is no group in Poland in which people with a criminal past would not appear. After the sentences, after the imprisonment – this is the environment – Najman began.

– On the other hand, the uproar that some journalists and the media felt after I introduced Andrzej, the boss of the MMA-VIP organization, is surprising for me in terms of its scale. I did not think that the MMA-VIP 4 gala would be so loud – he admitted.

Najman also briefly commented on reports that the organization had lost its gala location. MMA-VIP representatives wanted the gala to take place in the hall at Żytnia Street in Kielce. They submitted such a proposal to the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center. But MOSiR did not even start the discussion and immediately rejected the offer. – This is an outrageous matter. The gala, which would be held under the patronage of the former gangster, should not and certainly will not take place in Kielce, says Jarosław Karyś, chairman of the Kielce city council, member of the PiS club, in an interview with Sport.pl.

– And one more word about the fact that MOSiR in Kielce will not sign a contract for renting a hall for MMA-VIP 4, because Andrzej Zieliński showed up there. Do you really think this is a problem for us? Najman asked, then tapped his forehead with his finger.
