Vasily Berezutsky returned to CSKA

Former defender of the Russian national team Vasily Berezutsky entered the coaching staff of CSKA Moscow. This is reported in Twitter-account of the club.

Thus, Berezutsky returned to the army club, where he will work under the supervision of his brother Alexei. A joint photo of the Berezutskys appeared on social networks. “Welcome home, Vasily Vladimirovich!” – says the description for the picture. The last place of work of Vasily Berezutsky was Krasnodar.

In August 2020, Vasily Berezutsky entered the coaching staff under Viktor Goncharenko. After the Belarusian specialist left in April 2021, he refused to work for a new coach, Ivica Olic. After CSKA Moscow, Berezutsky moved to Krasnodar.

As a player, Vasily Berezutsky played 376 matches with the army team and scored nine goals. Together with the team, he won the Russian Championship six times, won the National Cup seven times and became the owner of the UEFA Cup in 2005.
