Only two Polish jumpers scored points in the Saturday competition in Bischofshofen. The seventh place was taken by Piotr Żyła with jumps of 137 meters and 132.5 meters, while he was 27th (124 meters, 129.5 meters). Eight national teams are to take part in the competition. Apart from Poles, the teams of Austria, Germany, Norway, Slovenia, Japan, Russia and Kazakhstan will also jump.

The competition on Sunday will start with a trial round at 15, and the first competition series will start an hour and a half later.

It will be the second team competition in the World Cup this season. The first of them was on December 4 in Wisła, where the Polish team took fourth place. The jumpers were Piotr Żyła (120 meters and 121 meters), (117.5 meters and 116 meters), Andrzej Stękała (129.5 meters and 112.5 meters) and Dawid Kubacki (119 meters and 97 meters). The Austrians won ahead of Germany and the Slovenes.
