Pogba to trade Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could have a new home next season. According to information from the English newspaper The Times, the Frenchman should sign with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract with the English team.

The athlete’s relationship with United ends at the end of this season, but the parties have not reached an agreement to renew it. At 28, Pogba can join PSG for free when his current contract expires. With less than six months to go, he can already sign a pre-contract with another club.

This season, he has played just 13 games for the Red Devils, as he is recovering from a muscle injury in his right thigh, which he suffered in November during training with the France national team. With another five months of contract, the midfielder should only be recovered and ready to enter the field at the end of February.

Paul Pogba has been with Manchester United since 2016, when he was bought from Juventus for an amount of 105 million euros, a record transaction as the most expensive in the history of world football at the time. With the shirt of the English club, the athlete won an English Cup League and a Europa League.

On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain hopes to repeat the success in negotiations of this type, since last season they managed to sign Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma at zero cost, as these players were free on the market after the end of their contract.
