The leadership of the Hungarian club highly appreciated the professionalism of the 58-year-old Russian specialist. “Cherchesov knows exactly what is going on in the heads of the players and can influence them. It exudes confidence and can infect athletes with it, ”Hajnal said.

Cherchesov became the head of Ferencvaros on December 20, 2021. In July of the same year, he left the post of head coach of the Russian national team.
