We talked about the system and the vision of the game. I don’t see a problem with Cannavaro taking over our squad shortly before the match with Russia. In such a situation, however, I would imagine that his staff would be made of Polish coaches. Has Cannavaro agreed to such a condition? I’ll leave it for myself.
– I have not finished interviews with potential candidates yet. I still need a moment to clarify the final three-four coaches. I need to talk to everyone in order not to make a mistake like Paulo Sousa. I want the coach selection to be the best and most accurate possible. I would like to make my final choice before January 19.
Kulesza on the selection of the coach of the Polish national team
Kulesza also referred to Polish candidates. The president of the Polish Football Association also stated that he did not know whether the new selector would be hired only for the play-offs for the World Cup or for a longer period. – I cannot reveal my ideas because I would make it difficult to negotiate with other candidates. The timing and design of the contract, however, will depend on many things. Same as the earnings of the new manager.
