We know the new coach of Poles? Bono’s mysterious entry

– I do not want to say one hundred percent that it will be a Pole, because many names and proposals come to me – said PZPN president Cezary Kulesza on Monday’s Sport.pl LIVE program, when asked about who will succeed Paulo Sousa. We will probably know the new coach on January 19, i.e. after the meeting of the board of the Polish Football Association. So far, there have been a lot of candidates in the media – both Polish and foreign.

Media: A complicated rebus from Zbigniew Bonek. Jan Urban’s new manager?

Zbigniew Boniek, the honorary president of the Polish Football Association decided to publish a cryptic entry on Twitter, in which he wants to suggest to fans who can become the new coach of the Polish national team. “Pure Math: MP + AN = JU?” – wrote Boniek. What coaches could Bok mean in the tweet? Probably the rebus is about Marek Papszun (or Michał Probierz), Adam Nawałka and Jan Urban.

Following a mathematical approach, it can be assumed that Zbigniew Boniek wanted to convey to journalists and fans that Jan Urban would become the new coach of the Polish national team. The trainer is currently bound by a contract with Grnik Zabrze until the end of June this year, but both parties have the option to extend the cooperation for an additional season. However, if PZPN would like to hire Urban in January, it would probably have to pay compensation to the team from Zabrze.

Cezary Kulesza on Monday, just after the Sport.pl LIVE program, started a series of talks with candidates for the position of the team selector. Kacper Sosnowski from Sport.pl informed that the first meeting with a coach from the Polish backyard lasted almost three hours. It can therefore be presumed that Cezary Kulesza met Jan Urban.
