Messi recovers from covid-19 and travels to France

Lionel Messi has been isolated since November 28 for testing positive for covid-19. This Tuesday, the Paris Saint-Germain striker recovered, landed at Rosario airport, in Argentina, and headed for France with his family on Wednesday.

Messi used his private plane and will rejoin the Parisian squad. During the isolation period, the player was following the recommendation to take tests between 24 to 48 hours.

There are chances for the athlete to take the field this weekend, for the French Championship. As soon as he enters the club’s premises, Lionel will have to undergo a batch of exams to avoid possible health problems and, depending on the results, will be released to act.

On Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain will face Lyon, at 16:45 (GMT), for the 20th round of the French. The team coached by Mauricio Pochettino is the leader of the tournament, with 46 points, and comes from ten games without losing.
