This is not how the Olympic season was supposed to be performed by Polish ski jumpers. Our entire team has been failing since the very beginning of the season. All competitors have problems with advancement to the second series alternately, and sometimes even to the competition.

That happened recently too, which was the only light in the tunnel at the start of the season. The 34-year-old was by far the best, which was reflected even in the podium in Klingenthal. Then came the 4-Hills-Tournament and the good form of the three-time Olympic champion was gone. In Oberstdorf he was only 41st, and in Ga-Pa even worse, 47th. He did not qualify for the competition in Innsbruck on Monday, which resulted in his complete withdrawal from the German-Austrian competition.
