Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Vladimir Mineev was presented with a horse for defeating compatriot Magomed Ismailov at the AMC Fight Nights 105 tournament in Sochi, TASS reports.
It is noted that after the end of the fight Mineev was given documents for the Russian trotter of Nogai origin. The athlete will be able to pick up the horse in Pyatigorsk.
Earlier, Mineev apologized to the Ismailov family after winning the AMC tournament. “I know she’s in the hall. It’s even embarrassing that this happened in front of their eyes, ”said the athlete.
Mineev knocked out Ismailov at the AMC Fight Nights 105 tournament in Sochi. The middleweight title fight ended in round three. For Mineev, the fight was the first defense of the title. The fighter announced his desire to hold a third fight against Ismailov.
The first joint fight between the athletes took place in October 2018 and ended in a draw. In addition to this fight, 31-year-old Mineev spent 18 fights in his career, won 16 fights, and lost one. 35-year-old Ismailov fought 21 fights, of which 17 were victorious, and three lost.
