Szymon Marciniak will go to M¦. Prestigious nomination by the hands of FIFA

Cuneyt Cakir, Antonio Mateu Lahoz, Jesús Gil Manzano, Daniele Orsato and Anthony Taylor – these are just some of the famous judges who will fly to Qatar for the World Cup. He was also among those appointed on the preliminary list. Iturralde Gonzalez, a former Spanish judge, presented the preliminary list on the air of Cadena SER.

The judges will go to the preparatory training before the World Cup, where, among others, practice any new situations.

Marciniak has already led matches at the World Cup

FIFA appointed a total of 36 referees from UEFA: 20 main and sixteen VARs. Marciniak has already led matches in the past for. In the last matches in Russia, he was the main arbiter of two group stage matches: Argentina – Iceland (1-1) and Germany – Sweden (2: 1). The Pole was also present at the World Cup qualifying matches and the European Championships. The second Pole is Tomasz Kwiatkowski, who was entered on the list of VAR judges. For him, it would be a debut at the world championship.

However, the official list of judges is to be presented most likely in October.
