– I must admit that I am a bit tired with the whole situation. Here you come to the staff and play, everything is great. Then you go back to the club and you don’t play. It’s not easy for me, but I hope that will change in the near future. I do everything I can to start playing and wait. I can only give signals during training – said Tymoteusz Puchacz in mid-November, whom Lech Poznań sold to Union Berlin for EUR 2.5 million in the summer. But his situation looks terrible, because so far he has only played in the League of European Conferences; he did not get a single chance, neither in the Bundesliga nor in the German Cup. Trabzonspor, the leader of the Turkish league, comes with a rescue option (after 19 rounds he has 46 points, seven more than the second Konyaspor and as much as 13 more than the third Basaksehir), offering a loan with the option of purchase.

– “He does not play practically any role in Union. He only played in the European Conference League (seven games), but he did not play in the Bundesliga and the German Cup. Now in winter he can be loaned out with the option of redemption in summer” – writes “Bild” and brutally adds that “The stay in Berlin doesn’t seem to make any sense.” And he calculates: Puchacz was not in the match team in as many as 15 out of 17 cases, and in addition Union was eliminated from the LKE, which means that the chances of his performances are drastically reduced. Puchacz is unable to convince a coach who prefers to bet on Niko Giesselmann.

The German daily notes that Puchacz looks very good on the offensive: he plays boldly, looks for duels and likes to cross. But the problem is his playing on the defensive and the fact that “it always seems like he’s going to make some blunder.” And this does not appeal to coach Urs Fischer, called a “security fanatic” – for him the most important thing is the defense, and then the offensive. – We talked. He has learned my opinion and knows what to work on. He’ll get a chance to show himself, said Fischer, but “Bild” interprets the words as follows: “It doesn’t sound like Fischer has big plans for the future with Puchacz.”
