RPL clubs spent 343 million euros in the 2023/2024 season on the salary of players
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) published a report in which he called the amount spent by the clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL) on the salary of football players in the 2023/2024 season. It is reported by Metaratings.
According to UEFA, the Fund for Remuneration of Russian Teams last season amounted to 540 million euros. 343 million of them went to salaries to players.
This is the eighth indicator in Europe. The teams of the English Premier League (Premier League) are leading, who spent 3.5 billion euros on salaries to players. RPLs also ahead of the Turkish championships (405 million) and Belgium (391 million).
Earlier, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, spoke about her desire related to Russian football. “I want to have fewer legionnaires, and more Russian guys, youth, guys from the regions,” Mizulina said.
