Andrei Arshavin received the coaching license of the UEFA category A
Former Russian national team football player Andrei Arshavin received the coaching license of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) of category A. He reported this on Instagram (prohibited social network in Russia; belongs to META, recognized as an extremist organization and prohibited in the Russian Federation).
“Coach,” Arshavin signed a photo with a diploma and a certificate.
Since January 2022, Arshavin has been working at Zenit as deputy general director for sports development. Since 2020, he served as director of the Department of Development of Youth Football, and previously worked as an adviser to the Director General of Youth Football Development.
Arshavin is known for performances for the Petersburg Zenit, London Arsenal, Krasnodar Kuban and Kazakhstan Kairat. As part of the Russian national team, he became the bronze medalist of the European Championship in 2008.
