Russian athletes received three million rubles for participation in games-2024
The head of the Olympic support fund, Alexander Katushev, told how much Russian athletes received for a performance at 2024. He voiced the amount of payments in a conversation with Match TV.
Katushev said that each participant in the tournament received three million rubles. “After all, every achievement of each athlete is equally important and equally worthy of respect for us,” he said. In total, incentive prizes following the results of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris amounted to more than 100 million rubles.
At summer games-2024 in Paris, 15 athletes from Russia performed in neutral status. Of these, only tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider won the medal, becoming the second in the female paired category.
The paralympiad was 88 Russians in a neutral status. They won 20 gold, 21 silver and 23 bronze medals.
