The Yaroslavl hockey club Lokomotiv collected 500 thousand rubles from Evgeny Baunov, who ran out onto the ice. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the court decision of the Kirovsky District Court of Yaroslavl.
The incident occurred on April 24 last year at the Home Stadium of Yaroslavls “Arena 2000” during the playoffs match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) against Magnitogorsk Metallurg. Due to Baunov’s actions, the match was suspended, the fan was forbidden to attend games for a year.
Lokomotiv was fined a KHL for 500 thousand rubles. The club paid a fine, and then decided to recover this amount from Baunov in court, who sided with the team. In addition, the fan will reimburse legal costs in the amount of 15 thousand rubles.
