The basketball player of the Ukrainian national team Konev was removed from the train to Latvia and taken to TCC

The Dnieper basketball player and the Ukrainian national team Vladimir Konev was removed from the train and taken to the territorial center of completion (TCC, the Ukrainian analogue of the military registration and enlistment office). It is reported by TASS with reference to Facebook (prohibited social network in Russia; belongs to META Corporation, which is recognized in the Russian Federation of extremist and prohibited) President of the club Valery Kondratyev.

Kondratyev said that Konev had to train in Latvia to participate in the national team matches in the qualifying tournament of the European Championship, but was detained and sent to TCC in Lutsk. He noted that the player has a reservation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the causes of what happened are unknown.

The President of the Dnieper turned to the Minister of Sports of Ukraine Matvey Poor and the head of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic Vadim Guttzight. He asked to resolve the current situation in favor of Konev.

Earlier it was reported that when crossing the border on the way to the tournament to Belgium TCC, Nikolai Kuranov took the “Reshetilovka” volleyball player, he was sent to exercises. After that, another club player fled along the road, and two decided not to return to Ukraine.
