Champion Oi Zaitsev: The return of Russian biathlonists depends on politics
Two -time Olympic champion (OI) Olga Zaitseva appreciated the probability of returning Russian biathletes to international tournaments. Her words are given by Odds.ru.

Earlier, the press attache of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Christian Winkler reacted to the call of the head of the International Federation of Sports and Snowboard (FIS) and presidential candidate of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Johan Eliash to allow Russians and Belarusians for world tournaments in neutral status. He emphasized that the statements of other federations do not affect IBU.
Russians and Belarusians do not participate in international competitions by decision of IBU. The order entered into force in March of 2022 and will act until further notice.
