The Russian volleyball player Julia Brovka will leave the Kaliningrad Lokomotiv after a fight with the Turkish teammate Ebrar Karakurt. It is reported by Volley News.
According to the source, the brawl between the athletes occurred in the locker room in February 2025. After that, the foreign volleyball player damaged the car with Brovkina, which is confirmed by records from video surveillance cameras. Karakurt nominated an ultimatum, due to which the leadership of Lokomotiv decided to part with Brovkina.
Brovka will become a player of Zarechy-Odinovo. Her contract with the club will be designed for two seasons.
In May 2024, Karakurt and her Turkish national team, Zeverh Gunesh, was outraged due to the fact that at a 13-hour flight they were provided with places in the economy class. Karakurt also arranged a fight in one of the nightclubs of Istanbul.
