The creation of same -sex duets in figure skating should not cause questions, said the director and director of the ice show Ilya Averbukh. With his opinion about the idea of developing a new direction, he shared in an interview with Lenta.ru.

In 2022, the Canadian figure skating federation allowed skaters of the same floor to form sports couples and dance duets at national tournaments.
