Fitness expert Eduard Kanevsky told what pain during training is the norm. His words are given by Moscow 24.
Kanevsky said that the pain in the specific muscle during the exercise can and should be tolerated, but only if the muscle copes with the rise in weight. “As a rule, this is one or two repetition after burning. It makes no sense to do more, since the muscle itself is no longer able to contract: its resource is exhausted in the moment, ”he said.
If during the exercise or immediately after the stitching, acute or pulling pain is felt – this is a sign of already received injury and a signal for seeking a doctor. At the same time, the pain in the following days is the norm, but unpleasant sensations should be insignificant.
In martial arts, bruises are considered to be the norm: if the movements are left without restrictions and pain syndrome, it is worth stopping the task so as not to provoke a more serious injury. With strong bruises, dislocations and sprains with a decrease in mobility and pain, you need to immediately stop classes, attach cold to the injured area and consult a doctor. “A concussion is considered to be a separate mansion in martial arts. Its main symptoms are the run of the eyes, loss of consciousness, nausea and vomiting, severe headache. It is necessary to immediately stop the training and call an ambulance, ”the specialist emphasized.
Previously, Kanevsky dispelled several popular myths about training. In particular, he denied the danger of a gym for girls.
