Navka explained the proposal of Kostomarov to change citizenship

Tatyana Navka Olympic champion explained why she offered her partner Roman Kostomarova to change citizenship during performances. Her words are given by RIA Novosti.

“Everything is simple. At the time I suggested that he speak, I myself played for Belarus, ”said Navka. She added that they and Kostomarov would be able to achieve the same results, in the case of their transition under the flag of another country.

Earlier, Kostomarov said that Navka invited him to play for Belarus, but he refused. Kostomarov emphasized that he wanted to speak under the Russian flag and listen to the domestic anthem.
