Wednesday’s competition at the Schattenbergschanze (HS 137) in Oberstdorf, Germany will be the last act of this season in 2021. The first competition at the Four Hills Tournament will select the first leader of the jubilee edition. Where and at what time to watch the competition?
Two favorites to win TCS
Among the main favorites to win, there are mainly two jumpers. They are the ones who triumphed in TCS in the 2018/19 season, and also, which is Germany’s best hope of breaking a 20-year-long stamina in terms of winning the entire cycle.
Apart from the victory of the Japanese three years ago, the last years have been marked by the total domination of Polish ski jumpers in the Four Hills Tournament. From the 2016/17 season, Kamil Stoch (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2020/21) triumphed three times, and once was Dawid Kubacki (2019/20), who finished the competition in third place a year ago.

Five Poles will appear on the competition start list. The best in qualifying was Jakub Wolny, who took 13th place after a jump of 127.5 meters. Next were Piotr Żyła (120 meters, 24th place), (116 meters, 28th place), (117 meters, 37th place) and Paweł Wąsek (112 meters, 46th place).
The competition on the German hill will be played in a pair KO system. Polish jumpers will compete with the following players:

- Dawid Kubacki (Poland) – Manuel Fettner (Austria)
- Kamil Stoch (Poland) – Cene Prevc (Slovenia)

The trial series will start at 3:00 PM and the main competition will begin at 4:30 PM. The competition will be broadcast by TVN (16:00), Eurosport 1 (15:15) and Player.pl.
