“Porto” and “Roma” will meet in the butt matches of the Europa League
The results of the drawing of the butt matches of the Europa League season-2024/2025 became known. The broadcast of the event was on the website of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
Matches will be held on February 13 and 20. The victorious teams will join clubs released in the 1/8 finals directly (Lazio, Athletic, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aintracht, Lyon, Olympiacos, Rangers).
Based on the results of the draw, Ferencvarosh will play against Victoria Pilsen, Twente-against Bude-Glimt. “Fenerbahce” will meet with “Anderlecht”, “Union” – with Ajax. The PAOK was the rival of the FKSB, and the “Midthulland” – “Real Sociedad”. Two more pairs made up AZ and Galatasaray, Porto and Roma.
Earlier, the draw was the drawing of the additional round of the Champions League. 16 teams will take part in the butt matches, including Manchester City and Real.
Russian clubs do not participate in international tournaments due to sanctions by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and UEFA.
