ISU: We are murdered by the death of skaters in a plane crash in the United States
The International Union of Skatytsy (ISU) issued an application after the crash of the aircraft in the United States. The message is published on the organization’s website.
“We are deeply shocked by a tragic incident with the American Airlines flight in Washington last night. We were killed by grief, learning that among those who were on board were skaters, as well as their families, friends and coaches, ”the ISU statement said.
According to the Channel2 channel, eight American skaters were on board the crashed liner. The flight from Wichito (Kansas) Flying Spencer Lane, Ginna Khan, Franco Aparisio, Everly and Alidiya Livingstona, Sean Kay, Angela Young and Edward Zhou flew to Washington. All of them are young skaters who took place of the National Campaign for the Development of Figure Skating.
Earlier it became known that in the US aircraft crawling in the USA there were world champions in pairing from Russia Evgeny Shishkov and Vadim Naumov.
The passenger plane crashed in the United States near the Ronald Reagan airport. The airliner, when landing, collided with a military helicopter and fell into the Potomak River.
