Luis Rioja signs with Valencia until 2026

He Valencia announced this Thursday the agreement with the Alaves Sports for the incorporation of the Seville winger Luis Riojawhich signs until the June 30, 2026.
Rioja, who was trained at Real Madrid’s youth system and later played for RC Celta de Vigo’s reserve team and Marbella FC, joined Deportivo Alavés in the summer of 2019, from UD Almería. He led the team for the first three seasons and remained in the project despite the relegation after the 2020-21 season.
Rioja will be presented to the media next week at Mestalla, the Valencian club announced. Upon his arrival at Manises airport to sign for Valencia, the Sevillian has assured that the summer has been “a little long” but that “in the end it has come to a good end” by arriving at the club from Mestalla.
The footballer explained that “the important thing was to arrive” at Valencia despite the wait for an operation that the Valencian club already attempted at the beginning of the summer, but he stressed that he has arrived “to have a good season.”
