Alex Aranburu signs for Codifis for three seasons
The team Cofidis announced this Wednesday the signing of the Basque cyclist Alex Aranburu for the next three seasons, until the end of 2027. The Ezkio-Itsaso rider was proclaimed Spanish road champion in June and has just participated in the Paris Olympics, along with Oier LazkanoHe was also the protagonist in three escapades in the Tour de France and won the fourth stage of the Return to Belgium.
At 28 years old, Aranburu leaves Movistar to reinforce the French team, in which the Izagirre brothers also compete. According to the note published by CofidisAlex is “very pleased with the trust shown by Cofidis” and assures that he “will do everything possible to live up to expectations.”
