British champion swimmer Peaty reveals worms in Olympic Village food

Three-time Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty of Great Britain spoke about worms that athletes found in food in the Olympic village at the 2024 Games in Paris. His words are quoted by the Daily Mail.

He said worms had been found in the fish. “The nutrition is not good enough for the level expected of athletes,” Peaty said.

The Briton added that the food was good at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. In Paris, according to Peaty, you have to wait in line for a long time to get food.

Earlier, Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon compared the level of organization of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with the 2024 Games in Paris. According to him, the competitions were better organized in Japan. The athlete criticized the infrastructure in the Olympic Village in Paris, namely the lack of air conditioning and poor quality of food.
