Liverpool beat Manchester United in pre-season friendly

In a pre-season friendly, Liverpool faced Manchester United at the Williams-Brice Stadium in the United States and won 3-0. The goals were scored by Fábio Carvalho, Curtis Jones and Tsimikas.

The Reds return to action on August 11th against Sevilla. Kick-off begins at 8:30 am (Brasília time) at Anfield in England. On the other side, United will face Manchester City in the final of the English Super Cup. The game will take place on August 10th at 11 am (Brasília time) at Wembley Stadium in England.

Liverpool played their third friendly so far and are still 100%. In the first, they beat Betis from Spain 1-0, while in the second, they beat Arsenal 2-1. On the other side, United played their fifth pre-season match and have three losses and two wins.

The first goal came early on, in the 10th minute. Fabio Carvalho received the ball from Diogo Jota at the edge of the area, made a great individual play and hit it firmly into the back of the net.

The second came in the 36th minute, still in the first half. Salah made a beautiful play on the right and crossed to Curtis Jones, who only had to push it into the goal.

Finally, to close the score, Tsimikas scored his goal in the 16th minute of the second half. After a beautiful play by Liverpool, the athlete received the ball on the penalty spot and, with great coolness, finished into the net.
