Krzysztof Banaszyk is dead. The information about the death of the famous actor was provided by the Polish Actors’ Union. “Very sad news has reached us. Krzysztof Banaszyk has passed away – a long-time member of the ZZAP and a member of the Main Board of the ZZAP for several terms” – we read on Facebook. “Thank you Krzysztof for your contribution to the development of the Polish Actors’ Union. Krzysztof Banaszyk was a theatre, film and television actor, as well as a well-known narrator and dubbing artist. He was born in Poznań and graduated from the PWST in Warsaw in 1993. He performed at the Polish Theatre in Poznań, the New Theatre in Łódź, and also collaborated with theatres in the capital city such as: Dramatyczny, Polski, Współczesny, Bajka.
Banaszyk made his debut in 1992 in the film “Wszystko, co końca” by Robert Gliński. Five years later he was cast as attorney Robert Kalicki in “Klan”, a role he played for almost 30 years.
