The Basque Team paddler Miren Lazkano has not been able to get a medal in the final of the test C1 canoe slalom played this Wednesday in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The San Sebastian native, who has made it to the final after being tenth in the semi-finalshas been left without any chance of fighting for the medal after receiving a six second penalty. He has covered the descent of the canal of the nautical stadium of Vaires-sur-Marne in a total time of 116.97.
Thus, Lazkano closes the competition in tenth position. The gold medal was won by the Australian Jessica Fox (99.06), the German silver Elena Lilik (103.54) and the bronze went to the American Evy Leibfarth (109.95).
