British gymnast Whitlock: Russians would be close to top at 2024 Games
British gymnast Max Whitlock has spoken out about the absence of Russians at the 2024 Olympic Games. His words are reported by Reuters.
Whitlock believes the Russians are extremely tough competitors at any event. “I think it’s pretty competitive, so it’s hard to say whether the path to the podium is getting any easier. But if they were involved, I’d imagine they’d be close to the top,” he said.
