State Duma Deputy Delimkhanov Calls Opening of 2024 Paris Games a Satanic Sabbath
State Duma deputy and associate of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov Adam Delimkhanov commented on the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris. In his Telegram channel, he called the event a satanic sabbath.
According to Delimkhanov, the footage from the ceremony shows “the complete degradation of European society.” He also stated that its participants insult the sacred values of Christians.
“We see how these Satanists shamelessly mock the Bible, insult the sacred values of Christians. The main characters of the Olympics in Paris were the most vile representatives of society – moral freaks, EKGB agents (international LGBT public movement recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) and bastards who have completely lost their human appearance,” the deputy wrote.
He also added that the Muslim community stands in solidarity with Christians and views the desecration of the Bible as an insult.
The opening ceremony of the Games took place on July 26. Representatives of a number of countries criticized the event, as sexual minorities were depicting the Last Supper. In particular, the Greek media called the ceremony the collapse of civilization. Similar comments were made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova and the American billionaire Elon Musk.
The IOC later issued an apology and clarification, stating that the organizers had no intention of disrespecting any religious group. The purpose of the opening ceremony was to celebrate community and tolerance.
