Olympic medalist from Russia Komova on the opening of the Games in Paris: it’s a failure, I want to puke
Two-time 2012 Olympic silver medalist in artistic gymnastics Victoria Komova spoke out on Instagram (a social network banned in Russia; belongs to the Meta company, which is recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) about the opening ceremony of the 2024 Games in Paris.
“What a horror! This is a failure. They knocked from the bottom. I want to puke from such an opening of the Olympics,” she used to describe the footage from the ceremony with a half-naked blue man. After Komov, she added a photo with the mascots of the 2014 Games in Sochi and declared: “Russia is the best country! Russia – I love you!”

The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games took place on July 26 on the Seine. The Greek media called it the collapse of civilization because transvestites were portraying the Last Supper.
The event was also criticized by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. American billionaire Elon Musk expressed a similar opinion. Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova, on the contrary, called the ceremony wonderful.
