At the end of her contract with Napoli, Insigne receives a million-dollar proposal from Toronto FC

Lorenzo Insigne is linked to the Naples until the end of the season and evaluates possible destinations. According to Sky Sport Italy, the 30-year-old forward received a million-dollar offer from Toronto FC, which competes in the MLS.

According to the publication, the Canadian club offered 11.5 million euros (BRL 73.2 million) per season, with a contract valid for five years, plus bonuses of 4.5 million euros (BRL 28.6 million ) related to the number of goals and assists. This is an amount that the Italian team does not intend to pay.

Captain Insigne, who has already been speculated in the International, tends to accept Toronto FC’s offer. If the green light is given, the transfer will only take place in 2022 – just when the athlete’s contract with Napoli ends.

Formed at the base of Napoli, Lorenzo Insigne played 415 games for the club, scoring 114 goals and 91 assists. This season, he has played 18 games: netting five times and making six passes for goal.
