UFC Fighter Tom Aspinall Says He Finds Russians Positive and Sincere
British mixed martial artist (MMA), interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall spoke about his attitude towards Russians. The interview with him was published on the Red Corner MMA channel on YouTube.
The athlete noted that his personal experience of communicating with representatives of the country was positive. “I consider them to be respectful, positive and incredibly sincere people with whom it is pleasant to deal. As I said, I am simply expressing my opinion from personal experience,” Aspinall said.
The Briton also noted that the Russians are very strong fighters. “They are good in all aspects. They have been doing martial arts their whole lives, like me. At least those I have fought,” the Briton added.
Aspinall had two fights with Russians in the UFC. The Briton won by submission against Alexander Volkov and also knocked out Sergei Pavlovich.
