Basque language: Frantziako Tourreko 21. stageko ibilbidea, profila eta ordutegia: Monako – Nice (33.7 km)
The last stage of this Tour de France It will be a 33.7 kilometer time trial between Monaco and NiceIt has been 35 years since there was a time trial on the final stage. On that occasion, Laurent Fignon was stripped of the yellow jersey on the Champs-Élysées by Greg LeMond, eight seconds behind.
As a novelty, it should be noted that this is the first time that the race ends outside Parisdue to the celebration of the Olympic Games, from July 26 to August 11.
By now the general classification positions may already be fairly closed, but it would not be the first time that the Tour has delighted us with some surprises. There will only be one second category mountain pass, the Turbie (11.2 km at 5.7%).
After this stage, the winner of the 2024 Tour de France will be officially known. The stage will be available to watch live on EITB via eitb.eus and in ETB1, from 3:30 p.m.
