Fitness trainer Yegor Khodyrev revealed the secret of former heavyweight boxing world champion Mike Tyson’s push-ups. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
Khodyrev said that this exercise involves the pectoral muscles, triceps, anterior deltoid, abs, and leg muscles. Push-ups help develop punching power, improve coordination, maintain health, and strengthen joints.
To perform the exercise, you need to take a prone position, placing your hands shoulder-width apart. As you inhale, you need to slowly and smoothly lower your body down, bending your arms at the elbows to a right angle. Then you should fix yourself in the lower position for one second, and as you exhale, push yourself up, straightening your arms at the elbows. At the end, you need to smoothly move your pelvis back and lower your buttocks onto your heels to take the “child’s pose” from yoga.
Tyson retired in 2005. From 1987 to 1990, he was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Tyson had 58 fights, winning 50 (44 by knockout) and losing 6. Two more fights with his participation were declared no contest.
