Manchester City have rejected Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr’s first bid for Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson. The offer for the 30-year-old was worth €30 million (around R$178 million), according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The English club considered the amount to be too low. The club wants more than 50 million euros (R$297 million) to release its first-choice goalkeeper.
The Brazilian has already accepted Al-Nassr’s contract proposal, which would see him sign for two years for around R$350 million. He is just waiting for an agreement between the boards to have his future defined.

Ederson missed City’s final two games of the season after suffering facial trauma towards the end of the Premier League campaign. He also had to be dropped from Brazil’s Copa América squad.
Ederson has been a Manchester City player since 2017, having joined from Benfica. With the English club, his main achievements include six English Championships, one Champions League, one Club World Cup and two FA Cups.
