Photos of tennis players taken for the 2024 Olympic Games have been mocked on The Tennis Letter page on social media X.
“Olympic photos where everyone looks like a criminal,” is how the authors captioned a selection of eight photos that captured the tournament’s participants. According to users, Daniil Medvedev looks like a representative of the Russian mafia, and Novak Djokovic looks like a dog from a meme.

Seven Russian tennis players will compete in the Paris Games. Daniil Medvedev, Roman Safiullin, Pavel Kotov, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider will play in the singles. The Medvedev-Safiullin, Andreeva-Schneider and Alexandrova-Vesnina duos will compete in the doubles.
The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. Russians and Belarusians are admitted to the tournament as individual neutral athletes.
