The Russian national football team remains in 33rd place in the FIFA rankings
The Russian national team has retained its position in the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) rankings. This was reported on the organization’s website.
Valery Karpin’s team remains in 33rd place. In the last match, which had the status of a friendly, the Russians defeated the Belarusian team on the road (4:0).
There have been several changes in the top 10. Spain, after winning Euro 2024, moved up from eighth to third place, while tournament finalists England moved from fifth to fourth. Argentina, winners of the 2024 Copa America, remain the leader, while France is in second place.
Russian football clubs and national teams are skipping international tournaments by decision of FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The Russians are only playing friendly matches.
