According to Mosalev, such an exercise is burpee. The trainer explained that it is not suitable for beginners. “Burpee is not recommended for everyone. Those who have problems with the knee or shoulder joints or with the spine – hernias, protrusions or scoliosis, should not do this exercise,” he said.
Mosalev also revealed the correct technique for performing burpees. The starting position is standing. “Then you need to do a squat, then jump into a push-up position, do a push-up, return to the squat position, and from there do a jump, placing your legs apart and raising your arms to the sides, then squat again, do a push-up and jump,” he said.
Earlier, fitness expert Eduard Kanevsky named burpees among the exercises that will allow you to train effectively when you are short on time. He noted that beginners may find the exercise difficult, so it is worth starting with a slow performance.
