On June 17, Ignatov announced his engagement to Trusova. The athlete posted two photos: one of the couple hugging, and the second of Trusova wearing a ring on the ring finger of her right hand.
20-year-old Trusova is a silver medalist at the 2020 Games. She also won gold at the national championship, silver and bronze at the European championships. In addition, the athlete has two victories at the junior world championships and third place at the adult world championship.
